What information we collect
Information you give us
When you use Endolog, you share information with us in several ways:
- Account basics. Your name and email address when you sign up.
- Health tracking. Everything you log about your symptoms, pain levels, triggers, and how you're feeling. This is the core of what Endolog does.
- Your profile. Information like your age, whether you've been diagnosed, and details about your medical history that help personalize the app.
- Feedback and surveys. When you tell us what you think about Endolog or respond to surveys, we collect that feedback for research and improvement.
- Messages and support. When you email us with questions or problems, we keep those messages and anything you share in them so we can help.
Information we collect automatically
When you use Endolog, we also automatically collect some technical information:
- Device information. Your device type, operating system, IP address, and browser type so we can make sure the app works on your device.
- How you use Endolog. Which features you use, how long you spend on the app, and what pages you visit so we can understand what's working and what needs improvement.
Information we don't collect
We sometimes combine your personal information to create anonymous, de-identified data that can't be linked back to you. This aggregated data helps us understand trends across all Endolog users but doesn't tell us anything about you personally. This anonymous data isn't covered by this Privacy Policy.
How we use your information
We use the information you share with us to:
- Keep Endolog working and deliver the features you rely on to track your health.
- Tell you about updates, changes, or new features that might help you.
- Help when you have a question or problem—our support team uses your information to actually help you.
- Improve Endolog by studying how people use it, what features help most, and how we can make it better. This includes understanding whether our marketing is reaching the right people.

- Show you relevant ads for Endolog and similar products on other platforms and apps.
- Keep Endolog safe by catching fraud and protecting against misuse, while building a secure environment for everyone.

Who we share your information with
We don't sell your data. In some cases, we do share information with trusted partners who help us run Endolog:
- People who help us serve you. We work with companies that handle things like payment processing, customer support, analytics, and app hosting. They only see the information they need to do their specific job and are legally required to keep it confidential.
- Analytics and advertising partners. We work with platforms that help us understand how Endolog is being used and who might benefit from it. This includes showing ads to people who might find the app helpful.

Keeping your data secure

That said, no system is 100% secure. If you ever suspect someone has accessed your account without permission, contact us immediately at hello@endolog.app.
We keep your data as long as you have an account with us, plus as long as required by law. If there's a legal reason to keep it longer (like a statute of limitations or an ongoing investigation), we will. Once you delete your account, we delete your information within 30 days.
Your rights
You have rights over your personal information. You can exercise these rights by emailing hello@endolog.app:
- Know what we have. You can ask what personal information we've collected about you and how we use it. We'll give you a copy if you ask.
- Fix inaccuracies. If any information we have about you is wrong, you can ask us to correct it.
- Get your data. You can ask us to export your information in a format you can use elsewhere (like a CSV or PDF). If you tell us where, we can send it directly to another service.
- Delete your data. In some cases, you can ask us to delete your personal information.
- Limit how we use it. You can ask us to limit what we do with your information, though sometimes we need certain data to keep the app working.
- No punishment for asking. You won't face any unfair treatment for exercising these rights.
We'll ask you for extra information to verify it's really you before processing your request. We'll respond without unnecessary delay, and we won't charge a fee unless your request is excessive or clearly unreasonable.
These rights aren't absolute—there are exceptions based on legal obligations, the rights of others, safety concerns, and our ability to defend ourselves legally. We'll explain any exceptions when we respond.
